The title of this post made up a key part of a story recounted to me by my Mum this afternoon.
She had been at her regular women’s group, and there had heard extracts from a book which tells the story of a New Zealand Christian couple who spent years doing missionary work* in China.
Before going to China ever entered their thoughts, they had felt that God had told them to bury the words ‘can’t’ and ‘won’t', and so they set about removing them from their vocabulary and mindset.
This choice became very significant, when sometime later they felt that God was asking them to go to China. Continue reading

Arrived in Wales at 1am this morning. – Nothing unusal there, we always tend to travel at those mad hours in the morning. What was unsual was that there wasn’t the usual struggle to keep awake, no need to sing road signs
and whatever else to ensure arriving in one piece!
So why make this mad trip?

I’ve decided to keep the title that WordPress kindly gave me, as I think I would like what I share hear to somehow be to the world.
What world? Well in some ways that is open to interpretation, but it could be:
The world of JJ - the people, occurrences, and events of my every day. Basically all that happens within what I call ‘my circle of circumference’.
The world of writing – this is a world I want to become established in, not necessarily to be recognised, though that would be great, but for the personal achievement of knowing I had set out to finally do it and had followed it through.
The world at large - who doesn’t want to have influence of some degree? The worldwide web and facilities such as this resource such a desire. Now to influence the world at large may not be the destination, but what a journey it could make!
