Intentionality, creates opportunity for creativity…

In Conversation

Cover photography by Morlene Fisher (Available on Amazon – paperback, ebook and audiobook)

In Conversation is a personal milestone in Janice Whyne’s journey of rediscovering her creative self. She sees poetry as a means of self-expression. A conduit and a safe space for our emotions, feelings and lived experiences.

All the poems in In Conversation began their life with a word(s) or line exchanged in conversation. Some originated from something that captured her attention while she was viewing or listening. She considers them articulations of the said and unsaid. The poetic voice in them is not always hers. Instead, it is an expression or interpretation of others’ voices.

Themes of life, loss, love, protest and more await all who engage in conversation with these poems. Readers have described In Conversation as unapologetic, raw, poignant, vulnerable and brave; a journey.
