Another two week themed post…
Two Fridays from now, on the 14th of March, I and my fellow ‘10k-ers’, will be participating in London Walks 2025. On behalf of Spitalfields Crypt Trust

This saying–which likely has some Scottish roots–is at the heart of why we’ve decided to participate in London Walks 2025 with #TeamSCT. Although some challenges may seem overwhelming, if we each do what we can (however ‘little’ it may seem) it can have a cumulative effect.
So, three friends and their three pairs of shoes will be doing what we can to raise some support and awareness for the vital work of Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT). –We should also end up a bit fitter too!

I signed up for the London Walks 2025 to provide a way of giving while having fun, keeping fit and making a difference within the community. Please support this charity, helping people to overcome homelessness and addiction, guiding them towards a brighter and more hopeful future. – Sam
SCT’s work supports people experiencing homelessness and those recovering from addiction. This year, they will celebrate 60 years of serving people and the local community in this way. Discover more about their efforts here.
Signing up for London Walks 2025 with SCT means I can help raise funds for people who are struggling with homelessness and addiction and support the work that they are doing with some of the vulnerable people in our city.
In addition when JJ calls her mugs*, we assemble 😀 – Morlene

The reality of homelessness has troubled my heart for years. Being introduced to SCT’s work and facilitating writing workshops for them felt like a way to be a small part of the solution. Walking a few steps for them is another. – Janice
Thanks in advance for whatever ‘little’ you can do: give, share, or leave an encouraging note–it is all appreciated. You can also sign up to walk too! Yes, there is still time.

*’JJ’s Mugs’ was the team name my cousins chose, when we participated in a team marathon for another charity, CAP, some years ago.
