Latest poetic expression. Prompted by a line from the series The Blacklist.

Beauty out of destruction, it is a possibility,

The reality of your suffering, emerging from its cocoon,

Refined in the struggle,

Rising out of the ashes,

Splendour and scars, arrayed side by side in their glory,

A striking roadmap, of the path destruction has taken you on,

Beauty out of destruction, it is a possibility,

A reclaiming of the past,

A redistribution of the burden,

Many hands can make light work, in the rebuilding of a nation,

What now appears to be an empty shell,

Can one day house magnificence again,

The remaing rubble of what was, can become the cornerstone of what is to come,

Beauty out of destruction, it is a possibility,

I’m not saying to make friends with your pain, but it may not be your forever enemy,

There maybe something redeemable, in the surrounding chaos,

Amoung the discarded ruins, you may find something still intact,

Perfectly, surprisingly, whole, and seemingly untouched,

An emblem of resistance,

A sign of resilience,

A redemption song,

Beauty out of destruction, it is a possibility.
